You should be able to stop the comments thread yourself. There is usually a unsubscribe link some where in the email message.

Once I initially commented I clicked the -Notify me when new feedback are added- checkbox and now every time a remark is added I get 4 emails with the identical comment. Is there any means you can take away me from that service? Thanks!

I have to disagree with you on your views about cheap advertising. If you are just starting your online business, learning about SEO. Will take far to long. If money really is an issue for you. Then the most cost effective method for you to get the word out about your website. Will be by using social networking and Traffic Exchanges..

It is indeed necessary but I am afraid that for small time internet marketers this can be a huge investment. What I can suggest is for beginners to do self promotion through SEO, like blog commenting or forum posting. When they can afford it, they can then start with paid advertising.
