Can You Trust Affiliate Marketing Guru’s?

There is a web site that I use quite often. Whenever I want to read a review on a new product or service. That I might be interested in spending some cash on.Can You Trust Internet Marketing Guru's?

The name of this site is IM Report Card.

If you are interested in Affiliate Marketing. Then I highly recommend that you start using this web site.

Recently. I was on IM Report Card, and l discovered something quite shocking.

Two of the most well known, and respected. Affiliate Marketers online. Mike Filsaime and Michael Cheney.

Were being slagged of unmercifully. By some of their customers.

“In all fairness to him, Micheal Cheney was given a slightly easier, and more balanced review.”

But as for Mike Filsaime. People were tearing into him like there was no tomorrow.

It got even worse for Mike Filsaime. Because he was also getting it in the neck. On a couple of other web sites that I visited.

Just for the record.

“I have purchased products from both of these marketers in the past, and I have had no problem with either of them at this moment in time.”

If you read the comment threads on the IM Report Card website.

You will notice that quite a lot of the complaints regarding Mike Filsaime. Are related to his subscription products or services.

I haven’t subscribed to any of those yet. So I’m not in the position to say how good or how bad they are.

But… In today’s current economical crisis.

“Who can blame you.

For being wary of paying a subscription to anything.” I try to keep mine under 10. And believe me. That is a struggle.

I use WordPress. So there are endless plugins. That are pitched to me on a daily basis. And about 15% of these offers want a subscription fee.

Don’t get me wrong. There are some subscription services. That you simply must invest in. To succeed online.

Domain name, Hosting, and a  Professional Auto-responder service.

Are just 3 that come to mind.

But. After reading all of those bad comments about Mike Filsaime and Micheal Cheney.

I must admit to you.

That I am starting to wonder who to trust.

Personally speaking. I think that some of the people. Who wrote those comments. Are just jealous and bitter.

To a point, I can understand their frustration. After all.

There are only so many times in the day. That you can take someone telling you. “How much money they made from using blah blah product or service.”

Before it starts to get under your skin.

Affiliate Marketing can be a bit of a lottery at times. You have to be stubborn and tough enough.

To take the good experiences with the bad.

That is the only way to make it through the learning curve. Always do you’re research before buying any product.

Use Review sites like IM Report Card to help you.

I would also recommend using a debit card and Paypal rather than a credit card whenever you make a purchase.

Using Paypal and a debit card makes it very easy to cancel any paid subscription service that you are not happy with.

Yes. I know that,  you get points and other benefits whenever you use you’re credit card. But  every smart Internet Marketer knows. It is a lot harder to cancel a subscription when you use it.

  4. Yes you most definitely can trust internet marketing guru’s You can trust them to do things in their own best interest. You can trust them to do everything in their power to make a profit. You can trust them to self-promote to the max.
Now whether or not they are honest in all their dealings with their customers is another question entirely. Some are. Some aren’t. Approach with caution. Individual mileage may vary.

The balancing act of trying to be honest, and making a profit. Seems to be impossible for a lot of Internet Marketers. Which really makes me sad and angry.

Because they make it so much harder for new people to earn a living from this business.
